Registration

Before using RLA Tenant Referencing services you are required to supply your details using our registration form.  Our referencing services are available to members of the RLA and all other landlords.

If you are a current member of the RLA you will receive a member discount.  To receive your member discount you must supply your member number when registering.


How does it work?

To start a Full Tenant or Guarantor reference please login to your user area and follow the three simple steps below:

  1. Enter details of your property and the monthly rent amount
  2. Enter each tenant/guarantor's name and email address
  3. Check the summary and make a secure payment using credit/debit card

Each tenant/guarantor will then receive an email asking them to click to complete their application online. As soon as each person has completed their application we start checking their details!

What if my tenant doesn’t have an email?
Although the vast majority of people now have access to email you are still able to use the services if they do not. Simply download our tenancy application form and have one completed by each person. Using the completed forms, you are able to enter their details online on their behalf.

To request a Company Reference you will need to know the companies full name or company number, their address and telephone number. To start the process please login to your user area and follow the three simple steps below:

  1. Enter details of your property and the monthly rent amount
  2. Enter details of the company as shown above
  3. Check the summary and make a secure payment using credit/debit card

Payment

RLA Tenant Referencing is a pay-as-you-use service.  When creating a new tenancy application through the online portal you will be required to make payment using a valid credit or debit card.

Please note that any contract for the supply of goods/services will be made between you and the provider of the goods/services; not with the Residential Landlords Association Limited or any of its associated companies.
